El Cosmico, Marfa Texas

“Follow Me to El Cosmico”

…A bumper sticker and phrase well known to veteran fans of this magical place.

El Cosmico in West Texas, Marfa to be exact, is an aesthetically appealing hotel-like place for hipsters, artists, travelers, and nomads to stay and tune-out, but still stay close to the land. And it is so unlike any other place. We are talking Tee Pees, Mongolian Yurts, a slew of Caravans, Safari Tents, and even camp grounds on 18 acres of West Texas land.

Horseshoe Bend, AZ

Sadly, our Desert Road Trip was coming to an end, but on our last day we went out with a bang. We got to see Horseshoe Bend and take a boat ride through Lake Powell. Arizona really has some of the most beautiful scenery. There is so much more that I need/want/must see.

Ugh, this place. Pictures do it absolutely no justice.

Tulum, Part 1

How to describe Tulum in one word? AMAZING. I’ve been to a few places in Mexico over the years, and this places takes the cake, hands-down. The beaches, the jungle, the hotels, the people, the restaurants all so ‘amazing’.

Hello world!

Hello World!
Well, here I am. I’ve admired slash lusted over so many blogs for years, and now the time has come for me to start my own. Why now? Why not now, right? Plus, my mom and my husband both insisted I start a blog. So, here I am.
I really enjoy the space a blog creates for an individual, a creative outlet, a place to share things you love, things that inspire you, a place to share your adventures and just a place to be yourself.
I am looking forward to sharing our travel adventures, life + style, and some creative projects!
