Each year my husband and I try and take a road trip to visit some National Parks and other natural wonders. Last year, we took a California Road Trip and visited Sequoia National Park to see the giant Redwood Trees, and we also went to Napa/ Sonoma, San Francisco, Carmel, and Big Sur Beaches. This year we wanted to do more of a National Parks trip with a definite stop at some of Utah’s National Parks.

Cocktail Floats
Well, that was fast. It seems like summer just started, and now we are in the final days before the air starts to feels crisp and the leaves change color. But, before summer ends, how about a new twist on classic cocktails to try as a sort of ‘farewell to summer’ with a nod to a childhood favorite- the Ice Cream Coke Float. The twist is instead of ice cream we are using sorbet, and instead of soda we are using liquor!

Breakfast Popsicles
I’m a breakfast eater. It is definitely one meal I do not skip. For a lot of people, though, this is often a meal that is skipped for various reasons; lack of appetite, lack of time, convenience. My go-to breakfast is usually something light, lots of protein, and some fruit, but a breakfast popsicle is a new one for me!

Texas Road Trip, Part 1
Texas is full of hidden gems; you just have to know where to look. The best gem of them all ( in my opinion ) is the loop around the Texas Hill Country- central Texas, small towns, big cities, historical sites, and good old Texas nostalgia.
